Project Overview
Custom browser-to-printer integration for automated calibration certification label generation serving regulated industries nationwide
Solution
Developed custom browser-to-printer integration where no existing solution was available. Built dynamic form generation based on selected label templates, automated certification number generation using Julian date + tech ID + sequence with validation to prevent duplicates. Implemented batch label generation allowing techs to select quantity and auto-generate all labels. Created custom print queue management handling timeouts, errors, retries, and rate limiting with auto-detection of Brother printers. Added live label preview for visual confirmation and print log for reprinting and corrections beyond original scope.
